Free candy bars at CVS, or...

...great savings on more than one with coupons from CVS.com, Coupons.com, and the CVS ExtraCare Coupon Center.

All Mars single candy bars are on sale this week for 75 cents, and one candy bar is free after 75 cents in extrabucks rewards. However, if one candy bar won't do, there are three coupons available that will allow you to get two for 25 cents after extrabucks rewards. I was especially happy to find a coupon for 50 cents off of two packages of M&Ms in the coupon section of the CVS website and is marked specifically to be used at CVS. That meant I didn't have to choose between the mint M&Ms and the pretzel M&Ms. Both the CVS website and Coupons.com also have 50 cents/2 coupons for 3 Musketeers and Dove Candy bars.

There also is a Buy $15, Get $5 extrabucks rewards deal on Mars, Dove chocolate, Kudos, and Combo products. Among the items featured in the deal are sharing size and 2 to go size of M&M/Mars candy. The size range on the M&Ms (1.08-42 oz.) and the 3 Musketeers (1.92 to 3.28 oz.) coupons enable CVS shoppers to use those coupons on those items. Additionally, the CVS ExtraCare Coupon Center continually been spitting out coupons for 75 cents off of two sharing size of M&Ms. If both of those coupons were utilized together, the price for two sharing size M&Ms would go from 2/$3 this week to 2/$1.75. The 50 cent/2 coupon also could be used on the 7-8 oz. Mars Chocolate pouches, which are on sale for $2/5. Boxes of Kudos in the 10 oz. size are eligible for this deal at 2/$5, and 6.3 oz. bags of Combos at 2/$3 round out the products eligible for this extrabucks rewards deal.

All for this deal. Will talk next time on way to use the $2/$10 cosmetics purchase coupon I just got from the ExtraCare Coupon Center this morning.

Use your 20 percent off coupon on these extrabucks rewards deals

Whenever I'm going to take advantage of a extrabucks rewards deal, and the items for the deal aren't on sale, I always wait to see if I get a percentage off coupon for the weekend so I can save even more.

There are a couple of Sally Hansen cosmetic products I've wanted to try, and there's a Buy $10, Get $5 extrabucks rewards deal on them this week. I considered taking advantage of the deal even more when I received a $2 coupon from the CVS Beauty Club earlier in the week good on a $10 purchase. But I couldn't find any coupons to match up with the CVS one, so I was still on the fence about the deal. Now that I got a 20 percent coupon via email that I loaded on my card earlier today, this is a deal I will snatch up before Saturday.

Since warmer weather has arrived, it's time for me to go out and get some yard work done. That involves getting rid of limbs and weeds. I don't have outdoor trash bags that are up to that task, but CVS has a Buy $15, Get $5 extrabucks rewards deal on any Hefty trash or food storage bags. Since I'm also out of food storage bags, this deal will kill two birds with one stone.

There are several other cosmetics extrabucks rewards deals this week where the 20 percent coupon will come in handy. All Revlon cosmetics are part of a Buy $15, Get $7 extrabucks rewards deal. This deal is sweeter with $1 coupons on Coupons.com for Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Suede Lipstick and Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara. L'Oreal cosmetics users can use the 20 percent off coupon on the Buy $12, Get $4 extrabucks rewards on L'Oreal Foundation, Powder, Blush, or Concealer. To help even more with the deal, the L'Oreal Paris website has a $1 coupon that can be used on any L'Oreal product. Other cosmetics extrabucks rewards deals on which the 20 percent coupon can be used are a Buy $10, Get $4 extrabucks rewards deal on any Almay cosmetics, a Buy $10, Get $7 extrabucks rewards on all Physicians Formula cosmetics and skin care, and the $10 extrabucks rewards deal on DermaSilk products.

In addition to the cosmetics deals, there are two hair care extrabucks rewards deals on which the 20 percent off coupon would come in handy. Those of the Buy $20, Get $10 extrabucks rewards on Nexus shampoo, conditioner, or stylers and a Buy $30, Get $10 extrabucks rewards on Pantene Expert of Fekkai hair care. Coupons.com has a $2/2 coupon on any Pantene Expert product.

If you are in need of oral care products, you can use the 20 percent off coupon on Colgate or Crest extrabucks rewards deals. The Crest deal is a Buy $10, Get $5 extrabucks rewards on select Crest 3D white paste, brush or rinse. Coupons.com has a 50 cent coupon good for one Crest toothpaste 4.0 oz. or larger. In addition to the toothpaste coupon, P&Geveryday has a $1 coupon good toward the mouth rinse. While there is no limit to the amount of coupons that can be printed from Coupons.com, P&Geverday has a limit of 1 of each coupon per month. The Colgate deal is a $3 extrabucks rewards deal on Colgate multipack toothpaste and toothbrushes. A 75 cent coupon for any Colgate toothpaste on Coupons.com is good on Colgate Total, Colgate Optic White, Colgate Max Fresh, or Colgate Sensitive.

There are several significant extrabucks rewards deals on health products that the 20 percent off coupon makes even better. The first is the Buy $10, Get $4 or Buy $20, Get $10 extrabucks rewards deal on select CVS health, beauty, and personal care products. Another is the Buy $20, Get $10 extrabucks rewards on Excedrin 24-200 ct. CVS shoppers who take advantage of the $5 extrabucks rewards deal on any three Johnson & Johnson bandages, Red Cross products, Aveeno, Benadryl Anti-Itch or Neosporin products will also get a first aid case, which has coupons that can be used on future purchases. HealthyEssentials.com has coupons for many of those products. rounding out the health products deals are a $2 extrabucks rewards deal on KT Tape, a $1 extrabucks rewards on any Pepcid product, and a Buy $25, Get $7 extrabucks rewards deal on any Opti-Free, Clean Care, Systane, or Genteal products.

There are other household items extrabucks rewards deals in addition to the Hefty extrabucks rewards deal where the 20 percent off coupon could be applied. Those include a Buy $12, Get $4 extrabucks rewards on Glade products and a Buy $12, Get $4 deal on Scrubbing Bubbles, Pledge, Shout, Fantasik, or Windex products. Coupons.com has coupons for all of those brands.

CVS didn't leave out the family dog when it came to an extrabucks rewards deal on which the 20 percent off coupon could be used. With a purchase of $15 of Beneful products, CVS shoppers will get $4 in extrabucks rewards.

With the wide variety of extrabucks rewards deals that can be paired with the 20 percent off coupon, it would be worthwhile to make a trip to CVS.

Get more than extrabucks with the $3 Special K extrabucks rewards deal

Although it isn't always in the CVS weekly ad, the $3 extrabucks rewards deal on Special K cereals and bars continues through June 1, according to the price tags on those products in my local CVS store. But even better is additional rewards you can get by taking advantage of deals that are listed on the boxes of those products.

When I first took advantage of the Special K deal, I was having a hard time deciding which cereal to get since I like almost all of them. Then I saw that the Special K Red Berries boxes had $1 coupons towards the purchase of one box of Red Berries cereal. That made my decision pretty easy. Since it's near the top of my list of favorite Special K cereal varieties, I bought three boxes of them so I can save an extra $3 on on the Special K deal the next time I need cereal.

But there are two other offers I've seen on Special K boxes I am planning to take advantage of. The first is a free year's subscription to Shape deal. By entering the codes on five specially marked packages of Special K products, one not only will get a year's subscription to Shape, but each code entered also give one a chance to win instant prizes. Those include 4 treadmills, 25 $100 pre-loaded gift cards, and 300 Special K branded yoga mats. I've found boxes of more than one variety of Special K cereal in my local CVS that have the Shape deal on them. However, the deal ends on December 19, 2013, so there is plenty of time to collect these codes.

The other offer is for free nail polish from Nicole by OPI. By entering just three codes from specially marked packages, one can get a free bottle of Challenge Red-Y nail polish. One can get a collection of three Nicole by OPI nail polish colors specially created for Special K. While I haven't seen many boxes in my local CVS that feature this deal, I did see a few at one of the CVS stores in my town just yesterday. Since the deal ends March 11, 2014, however, one has plenty of time to collect codes for this deal.

Codes for both of these deals not only count towards the a free Shape magazine subscription or free Nicole by OPI nail polish, but they also can be accumulated for items available through the Kellogg's Family Rewards program. So far, the only thing I've used my points toward is $1.50 coupons good on Kellogg and related brand items. Generally, one has to have 1,000 points to get a coupon, but there was a coupon "sale" at the end of last year when coupons were available for just 100 points. But there are other items available, such as magazine subscriptions, sporting gear, gift certificates, children's books, and contest entries.

Now that I've finished this post, I'm going to enter some more Kellogg's Family Rewards codes.

New twist on extrabucks rewards offers

Last week I was disappointed that the CVS weekly ad had only eight pages of sale items. But next week's CVS circular not only had 16 pages of specials, but it gives CVS shoppers a choice on how much they want to spend on two of the extrabucks rewards deals.

The first one is a Buy $20, Get $5 extrabucks rewards or Buy $30, Get $10 extrabucks rewards on a variety of items. This deal will be great for Huggies users since Huggies, Pull-Ups and GoodNites are all part of this deal. Additionally, there are a couple of coupons in one of the SmartSource coupon flyers that will be in Sunday newspapers (5/19/13). They include a $1.50 coupon on Huggies diapers and a $2 coupon on Little Movers slip-on diapers.

Another of the featured items will be 32-load bottles of Wisk for $4.99. According to Sunday Coupon Preview, there is $1 coupon for Wisk in the RedPlum coupon insert in Sunday's paper. Several varieties of Coppertone will be part of deal and on sale for $9.99. There is a $3 coupon that is good on the purchase of a 4 oz. or larger container of Coppertone and two Coca-Cola 12-pks. Although Coca-Cola 12-pks. aren't part of the deal, 12-pks. of Coke products are on sale for 4/$12 this week.

128 oz. Lipton iced tea jugs: 2/$5
ALL Maybelline Eye: Buy 1 Get 1 50 percent off
8 pk. Sparkle paper towels: $5
Starbucks Frappuccino (9.5 oz.), Refreshers (11-12 oz.), and DoubleShot (6.5 oz.): 2/$3
12 pk. (16.9 oz.) Lipton iced tea: 2/$10
10 oz. Palmolive: 99 cents
12 pk. Angel Soft bathroom tissue: $5
12 pk Qulited Northern bathroom tissue: $6.99

I just took advantage of  the other deal where CVS shoppers get a choice of extrabucks rewards. That deal is a Buy $10, Get $4 extrabucks rewards or Buy $20, Get $10 extrabucks rewards on select CVS brand Health, Beauty, and Personal Care products. Items excluded from the deal are sun care products, blood pressure monitors, pulse oximeters, vitamins, batteries, clearance items, and any products containing pseudoephedrine, ephedrine and items limited by law. Since I had a $2 off coupon on any CVS cetirizine (Zyrtec generic) products and $1 off any CVS ibuprofen purchase over $2.99 coupon I had gotten from the ExtraCare Coupon Center, I decided that this was a great time to stock up on these medications.

I think that having a choice on extrabucks rewards deals is a great idea. Since I live by myself, and money is tight, it often isn't feasible for me to take advantage of the Buy $30, Get $10 extrabucks rewards deals. I hope others will take advantage of the choice of a lower amount to get extrabucks back so that CVS will continue offering this type of extrabucks rewards in the future.

CVS has another $1 extrabucks rewards deal on Olay Regenerist and Total Effects Tone for $20.99. Finally, there is a $2 extrabucks rewards deal on Olay Total Effects Premium or facial hair removal for $22.99. There also were $3 coupons in Sunday's P&G insert for the first two deals. If none of this week's deals are appealing, there will be a Buy 1 Get 1 50 percent off deal on Olay hydrating lotion, Fresh Effects, Complete, Age Defying, wet cloths 20-66 count or Pro-X heads next week as well.

Get $4 extrabucks next week on $15 of Nestle products next week!

This week's Buy $15, Get $4 extrabucks rewards deal on Nestle products will allow you to save on food products for your family and for your pets as well. Additionally, there were coupons in the SmartSource section of the Sunday paper that apply to this deal, and there also are some coupons on Coupon Network as well.

Purchasing just one 23.2 oz. container of Gerber Good Start at $23.99 will be more than enough to complete the $4 extrabucks reward. Coupon Network has a $2.25 coupon off of the Soothe variety and a $3.25/2 coupon for any Gerber Good Start formula.

Coupon Network also has a $1/24 coupon for Fancy Feast, which will be on sale for 10/$6 next week. Buying 25 cans will be enough to get the $4 extrabucks reward. In addition to Fancy Feast, select Purina dog treats for $9.99 and 3.5-4.4 lb. bags of Purina Cat Chow, Purina Dog Chow, and Pedigree Dog Food at 2/$10 also are eligible for the deal. According to Sunday Coupon Preview, last Sunday's SmartSource coupon insert had a $1.50/3 coupon for Purina Cat Chow as well as a $1 coupon for T-Bonz or Tiny T-Bonz dog snacks.

Also featured as part of the extrabucks deal are Nestle, Skinny Cow, and Edy's Outshine frozen treats at $3.99/box. There was a $1/3 coupon for the Nestle frozen treats. in the SmartSource coupon insert in last Sunday's paper. I also saw a peel-off coupon on a package of the Skinny Cow frozen treats when I was looking around a local CVS store on Sunday. There also was a 60 cent coupon for three Nestle single bars, which are Buy 1, Get 1 25 cents as part of the $4 extrabucks rewards deal.

Also part of the deal are Stouffer's or Lean Cuisine entrees or Hot Pockets at 2/$6. Right now the Lean Cuisine Delicious Rewards program has a 20 percent off deal on free coupons for Lean Cuisine. If you got to 400 points, you can get a coupon for a free Lean Cuisine entrée. The point total usually is 500. At first I didn't participate in the program because one gets only 20 points for each code found inside each Lean Cuisine box. However, If you buy a lot of Lean Cuisine entrees, it doesn't take long to collect points. Additionally, there are chances for extra points through polls connected with the Delicious Rewards program. Also, I just got a free lunch bag by entering 20 codes in addition to being able to save them up for rewards on the site.

Other items eligible for the deal are:
