One of the reasons I shop at CVS a lot is that CVS generally has good deals on breakfast foods, and SavingStar often has deals that match up with CVS' deals.
This week I took advantage of a $2 back SavingStar reward deal for buying any four Kellogg's cereal, 12-ct. Pop-Tarts, or Keebler Cookies along with a gallon of milk. Since there is a $1 extrabucks rewards deal on milk, I ended up getting the milk for $1.99 after extrabucks rewards, and with the $2 back from SavingStar, the milk ended up being free.
Or, you could say one of the four boxes of cereal I bought ended up being free since selected 9-18.2 oz. Kellogg's cereals are on sale this week for $1.99 along with 8-ct. boxes of Pop-Tarts, 10 ct. boxes of Quaker instant oatmeal and Chewy granola bars, 10-ct. Cars fruit snacks, 8 ct. Rice Krispies Treats, and 40-ct. Truvia packs.
Select General Mills cereals are on sale for $1.88, and there are a few SavingStar deals on those as well. SavingStar matchups for this week include Honey Nut Cheerios (50 cents), Multi Grain Cheerios (75 cents), and Lucky Charms (50 cents).
You can save $1 on the purchase of both Honey Nut Cheerios and Multi Grain Cheerios with a coupon available on Coupons.com. Also available on Coupons.com is a 50 cent coupon on Lucky Charms. The Kellogg's website has coupons good on the Kelloggs cereals on sale this week. They include:
$1/2 any Rice Krispies cereal(Cocoa Krispies included)
$1/2 any Rice Krispies, Corn Flakes, or Raisin Bran cereals
$1/3 any Kellogg's cereal
$1/2 any Kellogg's Krave cereal
$1/3 any Kellogg's Corn Pops, Frosted Flakes, Honey Smacks, and Krave (Note:this coupon can be used on Froot Loops and Frosted Mini-Wheats Little Bites, but they're not included in the cereals on sale)
There are some other deals on SavingStar related to breakfast, but I'll leave those for another post. Hope everyone has a nice weekend.
