Helping out the military at CVS

Haven't gotten your flu shot yet? For every flu shot given this week at CVS, $3 will be given to the USO up to a $100,000 donation. The USO supports our troops through various programs, such as USO Operation Phone Home, Families of the Fallen Support, and USO Warrior and Family Care.

At a future time, I'll write about other ways to help the USO and the Wounded Warrior Project through shopping at CVS.

Corrections:

There were a couple of errors in the blog where I talked about some of this week's deals at CVS. Instead of getting $3 in extrabucks rewards for spending $10 on L'Oreal products, you have to buy $12 of L'Oreal products to get the $3 extrabucks rewards. Since there have been better extrabucks rewards deals on L'Oreal, I might wait to see if a better one comes along soon. In tomorrow's blog, I will let you in on a better cosmetics extrabucks rewards deal and let you know about a coupon you could use with it.

Also, the fine print on the $5 extrabucks rewards on a $25 holiday fragrance purchase says the deal cannot be combined with other fragrance offers. That might include using the $5 off a $25 fragrance purchase coupon from the ExtraCare Coupon Center. However, there wasn't anyting in this week's ad that wouldn't allow you to use that coupon on the other two fragrance deal I mentioned.
