If you haven't tried CVS' Gold Emblem foods, this would be a good time to do so!

It took a sale on individual packs of Gold Emblem cookies a few years ago to get me to try out CVS' line of food products. I wasn't expecting much, but  they were on sale for 25 cents, and I figured that at that price, they would taste good enough to justify the small amount I paid for them.

To this day, I feel it was one of the best expenditures of 25 cents I'd ever had. I don't remember the type of cookie they were, but I remember them tasting incredibly fresh and that the ingredients that went into them seemed to be equal, if not better, than those that went into brand name cookies.

A few months ago, I was having a craving for potato chips, so I went to CVS on the way home to buy some chips to resolve that craving. I happened to come to the store at the right time because the manager pushed out a cart of Gold Emblem sour cream and onion chips sale priced at 25 cents. I had planned on buying one of the small can of Pringles, but this was a better deal pricewise. This time I wasn't sure I made the right decision because I truly love Pringles, but the Gold Emblem brand surpassed my expectations for a potato chip. I would put them up against Lay's chips any time.

This wseek would be a good time to try out Gold Emblem products at CVS becuase there is a Buy $15, Get $5 extrabucks rewards deal on several Gold Emblem products. Prices range from 88 cents for bag candy, pretzels, or sparkling water to 2/$9 for nuts and trail mix. Gold Emblem chips, popcorn, or granola bars are on sale for $1.99, and Gold Emblem cookies, honey grahams, juice, or roasted or salted nuts are on sale for $2.99.

On Friday I got a coupon for $2 off of a $5 Gold Emblem purchase from the ExtraCare Coupon Center, If you don't want to buy $15 worth of Gold Emblem products and not like them, you could use the coupon to purchase $5 worth of products for $3. Then if you liked them, you could buy another $10 of Gold Emblem products by Saturday to get the $5 in extrabucks rewards.

In tomorrow's CVS Tips, I will talk about another coupon I got from the ExtraCare Coupon Center that will work great with a deal that will be coming up next week.

Grab the $2 off of $10 in cosmetics coupon from the ExtraCare Coupon Center!

As I mentioned in my last post, I have lots of coupons waiting form me the next time I swipe my ExtraCare card at the ExtraCare Coupon Center at CVS!

One of them is a $2 off a $10 cosmetic purchase coupon. There are two beauty extrabucks rewards deals that requuire only a $10 purchase. One is a deal on two Cover Girl Outlast Nail polishes. While there's only $1 in extrabucks rewards to be had, they are priced at 2/$10, and with the $2 cosmetics coupon, they would be 2/$7 after the extrabucks reward. If you happened to get the paper on Sunday, and it had a P&Geveryday insert in it, there is a $3 coupon in it for any two Cover Girl products. With that coupon, the final deal after the extrabucks rewards would be 2/$4.

The other deal with a $10 minimum purchase is a Buy $10, get $7 extrabucks rewards on Physicians Formula cosmetics or skin care. In a previous blog on beauty products, I talked about the new line of BB products that Physicians Formula has and that there are $3 coupons attached to the packaging. Since the Physicians Formula BB item is $12.99-$14.99 at my CVS store, you can use the $2/$10 cosmetic purchase coupon in addition to the $3 coupon on the BB item packaging, which would make the savings this week $12 after extrabucks rewards. But you might want to wait until tomorrow (1-31-13) to see if you get a percentage off coupon on any regular priced products. With a 20 percent off coupon, you would make money on the lower priced items and get $14.99 priced items for free, and if it's a 25 percent coupon like I got last week, all the items would be money makers.

There also are Buy $15, Get $5 extrabucks rewards deals on select L'Oreal and Maybelline cosmetics this week. The products eligible for the L'Oreal deal are foundation, blush, powder, concealer, eye, or nail. In addition to the the $2/$10 cosmetics coupon, there is a $1 coupon for nail polish on Save.com. If you are a myL'Oreal member, you can get a $1 for eye products and a $1 coupon for any L'Oreal product by completing a Can I Help You? consultation. There also were some L'Oreal coupons in one of the RedPlum coupon section of Sunday's paper for eye makeup, nail polish, and facial cosmetic products. Most of them are $1 coupons, but there was a $2 coupon for any L'Oreal cosmetic face product as well. The Maybelline deal is for any foundation, blush, powder, concealer, or eye product. Tried to find some coupons on the web to go with the $2/$10 cosmetics coupon but was unable to do so. But as with the Physicians Formula deal, you might want to check your email tomorrow for a percentage off coupon to make both of these deals even better.

And there still are more coupons to discuss. Tomorrow.

Glad I checked out the CVS website today!

When I check my email each morning, I make sure to open any CVS Deal of the Day mail to see if there are savings to be had on products I buy on a regular basis. Today was one of those days!

Today's Deal of the Day is a 2/$1 coupon for Campbell's Soup. As of 5:30 p.m. 1/29/13, the couon was still available. And just messing around, I pushed the Print button again thinking that I would be told that I had reached my limit of prints, but I was able to print another one! So I am taking those two coupons and a 40 cents/4 Campbells Chicken Noodle or Tomato soups manufacturer's coupon I had in my coupon holder and getting four cans of soup for $1.60!

After I got my Deal of the Day coupons, I checked my ExtraCare account to see if any coupons wre added to my account that would print out the next time I swiped my card at the ExtraCare Coupon Center, and there were several!

The first one was a $5/2 Centrum 100+ count vitamins. The 100 ct. adult vitamins are an eligible product for the $4 extrabucks rewards deal when you buy two qualifying products. There is a $3 coupon available on the Centrum website as well. Priced at $6.99 per bottle this week, The $5/2 coupon would bring the price to $4.49/bottle. I was able to print off two of the $3 coupons from the Centrum site, which makes the price $1.49/bottle. With the $4 extrabucks rewards, you would make $1.02 on the deal.

There also was a $6 rebate offer form in in one of the RedPlum coupon inserts in Sunday's paper for the products featured in $4 extrabucks rewards deal. However, you have to buy a third product to get the $6 rebate. One of the products is  ThermaCare HeatWraps, which are on sale for $4.99. There is a
$3 ThermaCare coupon on the ThermaCare website, which would take the price down to $1.99. But if you buy the vitamins and make $1.02, it would be like paying 97 cents for the ThermaCare HeatWraps. And with the $6 rebate, you would get $5.03 back.

The next coupon that will be waiting for me the next time I swipe my card at the ExtraCare Coupon Center is a $3 off any $10 or more purchase of any digestive health product. There are three extrabucks rewards deals this week on these products. The first deal is $2 extrabucks rewards with the purchase of two Pepto-Bismol products, which are priced at at 2/$11 this week. If you got the P&G brandSAVER insert in Sunday's paper, there is a coupon for 50 cents that can be used on this deal as well. There also is a $1 coupon for Prilosec in the P&G brandSAVER, and it can be used along with the $3 off coupon from the ExtraCare Coupon Center for the $2 extrabucks deal on the 42-ct box of Prilosec. Priced at $24.99, the $4 in coupons combined with the $2 extrabucks rewards deal would bring the price down to $18.99.

The other two digestive health product extrabucks rewards deals involve Prevacid24HR and MiraLAX. If you buy two 42 ct. boxes of Prevacid24HR for 2/$50, you get a $10 extrabucks reward. If you haven't signed up for Prevacid24HR Perks, you can do so on Coupons.com and receive a $5 coupon immediately. There also is a $3 coupon for Prevacid24HR available on Coupon.com as well, and if you already are a member of Prevacid24HR Perks, you can print off two of those. Combining it with the $3 digestive health coupon fromthe ExtraCare Coupon Center, you can get an additional $9-$11 off of your purchase.

And there was more! But it will have to wait until tomorrow.

Procter & Gamble coupon changes and coupon sources

Since CVS regularly has offers related to Procter & Gamble products, I'd thought I'd take the time to share a change in coupon redemption I've seen on recent coupons I've gotten from Sunday newspapers.

There now is a redemption limit of four of the same coupon each day. While it doesn't sound that different from the redemption limit of four of the same coupon per transaction that seems to be popping up on other coupons, the "per day" phrasing could be significant for redemption at CVS. Because most CVS shoppers' transactions are tracked through their ExtraCare card, one can't go back to a store later or go to another CVS store and use four more of the same coupon on the same day. Personally, this isn't something I have done, but other couponing blogs I've read have suggested this strategy. But I can understand people going out and buying multiple papers with the Procter & Gamble coupons in them because many of the Procter & Gamble brands don't seem to have online coupons.

There are a couple of Procter & Gamble sponsored programs where P&G actually will send out physical coupons. If you sign up for P&G everyday, you can get both samples and coupons for a variety of products sent to your home. There is a limit of 1 request per 90 days, but I've gotten some nice samples along with additional coupons for their products. I also recently got a $17 coupon booklet through the Procter & Gamble sponsored Home Made Simple website. Related to the CVS Procter & Gamble extrabucks rewards deals blog I wrote a couple of days ago, there were coupons in the booklet for Febreze products that could be used for this week extrabucks rewards deals on those products.

Since I seem to get good readership when I post deals on Pampers, I checked out the Pampers Village program as far as I could without actually joining since I don't have or care for anyone in diapers. While it says it offers exclusive coupons not available to those who aren't members, those coupons are online. When I've posted my link to blogs on the Pampers website, I've noticed that several people have posted that they aren't able to use online coupons because they don't have a printer.

To help out people who need physical coupons, I'm planning a way to help out in that regard. I hope to have that in place really soon.

TRESemme users need to grab a Sunday paper and go to CVS!

I got a $2/2 TRESemme hair care products from the ExtraCare Coupon Center today at CVS! This is in addition to the Buy 1, Get 1 Free TRESemme shampoo or conditioner that is in the RedPlum insert in today's (1/27/13) newsppaper.

The 32 oz. bottles of shampoo and conditioner and 8-11 oz. styling products are on sale for 2/$7. The 2/$2 coupons would take the purchase of any two featured TRESemme products to 2/$5. If you opted to buy shampoo and conditioner in order to use the Buy 1, Get 1 Free shampoo or conditioner coupon, that would take an extra $3.50 off, which would make the cost of the shampoo and conditioner 2/$1.50!

There are two other extrabucks rewards that feature hair care and styling products. Suave Professionals are inclided as part of the Buy $12, Get $4 extrabucks rewrds deal on selected Suave products. They are on sale for 2/$4, and the RedPlum insert with the TRESemme coupon also has a 50 cents off any two Professionals products and a $4 off coupon on any one Suave Professionals Morrocan Infusion Styling Oil. Other items at 2/$4 are Suave Kids hair products and Suave body wash. The RedPlum insert contains a 50 cent coupon on two Suave Kids products and a 50 cent coupon on any Suave Naturals body wash. While there isn't a coupon for Suave Naturals body lotion in the RedPlum insert, it is included in the Buy $12, Get $4 extrabucks rewards deal at 2/$6.

For men, Axe shampoo and conditioner are eligible for the $4 extrabucks rewards/3 Axe products deal. They are on sale for 3/$13. While there aren't any coupons in the RedPlum insert for shampoo or conditioner, there are coupons for other eligible products for the deal. There is a $1 coupon for any Axe antiperspirant, deodorant, or bodyspray. If stocking up on Axe body wash would be preferable, there is a Buy 2, Get One Free coupon for Axe shower products. If you go this route, that would knock off $4.33 off the deal!

I will get to the Procter & Gamble coupon posts that I promised I'd do later this week. AND I will give you some information on an extrabucks rewards deal on healthcare products that can be used towards a rebate deal that's also included in the same RedPlum insert today.

Interesting Procter & Gamble extrabucks rewards this week

On first glance of next week's CVS weekly ad, I was said to see that not only will there not be a $30/$10 CVSCash Card deal next week, there wasn't a $30/$10 extrabucks rewards on Procter and Gamble products. However, CVS is dong something different next week that might work out better for a lot of people.

On page 5 of the weekly ad, there are a variety of Procter and Gamble products that have $1 in extrabucks rewards attached to them. AND you can get up to 10 extrabucks rewards on these products. On the flip side, you have to spend more than $30 to get $10 in rewards. On the other hand, if you only wanted a few Procter and Gamble products at a time, this is a way to get some extrabucks rewards back without having to spend $30.

But, according to Sunday Coupon Preview, there will be two valuable Febreze coupons in tomorrow's P&G insert that can offer you some substantial savings. There is a Buy Febreze Fabric Refresher, Get a car clip vent free. Both products will have $1 extrabucks rewards attached to them this week. There also is a coupon for a free Febreze Noticeables warmer if you buy a refill. While you can get a $1 in extrabucks rewards on the refill, the warmer isn't included as an eligible product for extrabucks rewards.

Will post more info on Procter and Gamble deals this week plus some general information concerning Procter and Gamble coupons.

More oral care extrabucks rewards deals

I was so excited to see the deal that I reported yesterday concerning Speed Stick, Softsoap, Irish Spring, and Colgate products that I didn't look further in the CVS preview online circular and didn't notice that there are a number of additional oral care extrabucks rewards deals going on at CVS this week.

Crest users can get $2 extrabucks rewards on 4-4.8 oz tubes of Crest 3D white, Pro-Health, Crest with Scope of 8-8.4 oz. bottles of Crest Pro-Health Rinse on sale for only $2.99! Additionally, all Crest 3D White Whitestrips are $10 off. Coupons.com also has a link to a $10 rebate on the Whitestrips. When you click on the link, it will go to a Walmart page, but the page has a link to the rebate form, and the form doesn't specify that the Whitestrips have to be bought at Walmart.

Spend $10 and get $5 extrabucks rewards on any Listerine, Reach, or Rembrandt products and get $5 back! Both the CVS website and Coupons.com have a $1 coupon for 1.0L or larger Listerine mouthwash and $1/2 coupons on Reach dental floss and single pack toothbrushes.

The final extrabucks rewards deal is $2 extrabucks rewards back on 2-4 pks. of Colgate manual toothbrushes or twin packs of Colgate toothpaste. There also is a Buy 1, Get 1 50 percent off deal on Biotene rinse, toothpaste, gel or spray.

I am taking Monday off from work and CVS Tips, and I hope you have a wonderful MLK Day!

Speed Stick, Irish Spring, Colgate, Softsoap part of a Buy $12/Get $6 extrabucks rewards deal

Next week's Buy $12, Get $6 extrabucks rewards back on Speed Stick, Colgate, Irish Spring, and Softsoap products is my kind of extrabucks rewards deal!

Because I have a mouth guard to help with TMJ problems, I go through a lot of toothpaste because I have to brush the device as well as my teeth. Since brushing the device is hard on toothbrushes, I go through a lot of them as well. Since the device goes in and out of my mouth, I wash my hands before and after putting it in and taking it out of my mouth. Threefore, I go through a lot of liquid hand soap. And like everyone else, I always can use body wash and deodorant.

But before you pick up this deal, it would be wise to pick up a Sunday coupon since, according to SundayCouponPreview, there will be a SmartSource coupon insert that will have coupons good on this deal.

The insert will have 50 cent coupons for Colgate 4oz+ Total, Optic White, Max Fresh or Sensitive toothpaste as well as Colgate adult or kids manual toothbrush (excludes Plaus, Triple Action and Extra Clean). Colgate Total Advanced and Sensitive 5.6-8 oz. and Optic White 4.0 oz toothpaste will be on sale at CVS for $3. The Colgate Optic White toothbrush will also be on sale for the same price.

The 15 oz. Irish Spring body wash and 6-pks. of Irish Spring bar soap also will be on sale for $3, and Sunday's SmartSource insert will include a $1 coupon for Irish Spring body wash (excluding the 2.5 oz. size) and a $1 for a 6pk or higher of Irish Spring bars of soap.

For Softsoap users like me, the 15-18 oz. body washes and 8-8.5 oz. hand washes also will be available for $3, and there will be a 75 cent coupon good on Softsoap body wash and a 35 cent coupon good on the Softsoap liquid hand soap.

Finally, the 2.7 oz. sizes of Speed Stick or Lady Speed stick will be on sale for $2.99, and Sunday's SmartSouce insert has a $1 coupon for the deodorant.

What a sweet smelling deal on products that will keep you smelling nice and fresh!

All L'Oreal cosmetics, all Aveeno hair care part of $30/$10 CVSCash Card deal next week!

Not only will all L'Oreal cosmetics and all Aveeno hair care products be part of the $30/$10 CVSCash Card deal, but they also will be Buy One, Get One 50 percent off!

If you are signed up for myL'Oreal on the L'Oreal Paris USA site, you can get a $3/2 coupon for any L'Oreal products. There are also coupons for $1 for any L'Oreal eye product as well as a $1 coupon available after completing a Can I Help You? online consultation.

There also are a couple of offers currently on the L'Oreal Paris USA site that might be of interest. When you enter the site, there is a Facebook link to get a free sample of L'Oreal Paris Advanced Haircare. In addition to the coupons mentioned previously, there is a $10 rebate offer on a $30 purchase of RevitaLift, Youth Code, and Age Perfect products. Coincidentally, there will be Buy $30, Get $10 extrabucks rewards deal on all L'Oreal skin care products, and the L'Oreal Paris Advanced Haircare line is on sale next week at CVS as well.

Both the Healthy Essentials and SmartSource website have $1/1 and $2/2 coupons good on all Aveeno products (excluding cleansing bars, trial sizes and 2.5 oz. body lotion sizes). Any Aveeno purchase until Mar. 7 also can be used to meet the purchase requirement for the $25 coupon rebate offer, which is also available through the link above.

All Aveeno personal care or facial card products are Boy 1, Get 1 50 percent off as well. Also, there is a $6 extrabucks rewards offer when you buy 2 select Aveeno, Nivea, Jergens, or Eucerin lotions.

But there are plenty more beauty deals next week, and I'll pass them onto you later along with coupon links when I can.

One get this week, one wait until next week deal!

Currently CVS has a $3 extrabucks rewards deal on any three American Greetings priced at $1.99 or more. You can save an extra $2 by using the coupon that is avaable on the CVS website. If each of your cards is $1.99, you'll end up paying 97 cents for all three cards after the extrabucks rewards and the coupon. There is a limit of two prints on the coupon, but there is a limit of one extrabucks rewards deal. There will be another $3 extrabucks rewards deal on American Greetings cards next week, but there will be a minimum $10 purchase. The coupons I printed off today (1-17-13) are good until Valentine's Day, so if you need more than three Valentine's Day cards, you might want to wait closer to Valentine's Day to see if they run this week's $3 extrabucks rewards deal again.

Now if you got a 20 percentr off coupon from CVS in your email today, you can use that on the pruchase of the greeting cards as well since they aren't on sale, which means if you bought three greeting cards at $1.99, you'd acutally come out ahead (3 x $1.99 =  $5.97 - $1.19 = $4.78 - $2.00 = $2.78 - $3.00  = -$-.22!)

Although 12-pks of Coke products went down from 3/$10 last week to 3/$9 this week, they will go down even further to 4/$10 next week. AND purchases 12-pks of Coke products will count toward ANOTHER $30/$10 CVSCash Card deal next week!

Be back tomorrow with beauty deals that count toward next week's $30/$10 CVSCash Card deal!

Feminine/bladder control protection products part of $30/$10 CVSCash Card deal

I was hesitant to feature these products in a blog, but then I realized that if there's a good deal on thse type of products, you can stock up on them and minimize the number of visits to a store to buy them. Plus, it's always a good idea to keep these products in stock since you never know when an "emergency"might come up.

As far a as feminine care goes, included as eligible products for the $30/$10 CVSCash Card deal are Always/Infinity Radiant pads 24-36 ct., Radiant liners 128 ct., or Tampax Pearl/Radiant 36-40 ct. at $6.99; Kotex pads 28-44 ct., Lightdays 80-135 ct., or tampons 36 ct. at $4.99; and U by Kotex liners 50-60 ct., pads 14-18 ct., or tampons 18 ct. at $3.99. I found a $2/2 coupon for the U by Kotex tampons and a $2/2 coupon for Kotex Natural Balance products on Coupon Network.

For those of us with bladder control issues, Depend underwear 14-20 ct., guards 52 ct., and Silhouette or Real Fit 10-12 ct. are on sale for $10.99 along with Poise or Poise Hourglass 27-66 ct. If you sign up to receive offers from the Depend website, you can get a $2/2 coupon on any Depend product. On the Poise website, you can get a $2 coupon for the pads AND sign up for a free sample.

And if you have made a Depend purchase in the past, you may have gotten a $1.50 off coupon from the ExtraCare Coupon Center for Depend Real Fit and Silhouette, which can be used in conjunction with the manufacturer's coupon. It was nice to get the coupon, but it was a tad embarrassing that the coupon said, "Thank you for your recent Depend Real Fit & Silhouette purchase!"

Keep your baby clean with the Buy 1 Get one 1/2 Off Johnson's baby products deal

Hidden among the beauty products in page 7 in this week's CVS weekly ad is a Buy 1, Get One 50 percent off deal on all Johnson's baby products. The only reason I found it was because I followed a link on the CVS website that took me to coupons to use on healthyessentials.com. There is a limit of one coupon print.

There I found a $1 coupon for Johnson's Baby Oil and a $1 for Johnson's Baby Shampoo or Bubble Bath and Wash. Also available on the Johnson's Baby Facebook page is a $1 coupon for Johnson's Baby Oil Products and a $1 coupon for Johnson's Baby Head-to Toe Wash. The links for coupons for the Johnson's Baby Bedtime products and the Johnson's Natural products no longer work.

Purchasing Johnson's baby products at CVS this week can lead to more coupons if you take advantage of the $25 coupon rebate offer that is also available through the Healthy Essentials link above.

Hope this helps with saving on baby essentials so that there's more money to buy special items for your child.

In-store coupons that sweeten beauty deals

It's always helpful when the ExtraCare Coupon Center spits out those black-and-white coupons that help you save even more on beauty extrabucks rewrads deals and sales, and I've gotten more than one this week!

Yesterday I received a $3 off a $10 Revlon purchase coupon from the ExtraCare Coupon Center, which could be used on the $2 extrabucks rewards Revlon deals this week. As I mentioned in an earlier blog, all Revlon nail polishes are $5.49 with a $2 extrabucks rewards after purchase. If you were to buy two nail polishes and use the $3 off of $10 purchase coupon, it would be $7.98 out of pocket and after the $4 you would earn in extrabucks rewards, it would be $3.98 for two nail polishes!  You also could use the $3 off of $10 purchase coupon on the $2 extrabucks rewards deal on Revlon Nearly Naked makeup, Color Stay lipstick, or Photo Ready BB cream. All of those are on sale for $6.49 this week. Or you could use the coupon to get one $2 extrabucks rewards deal on nail polishes and another on the face and lip products!

There also is a Buy $15, Get $5 extrabucks rewards on Maybelline face or eye products, and I've already gotten two $1 off any Maybelline product coupons from the ExtraCare Computer Center. If you bought a Sunday new paper that had two RedPlum inserts, there was a $1 off coupon for mascara in one of them, which also could be used on this deal.

Not only are there ExtraCare Coupon Center coupons available on beauty deals, but Physicians Formula's new BB products have $3 coupons on their new line of BB products. With the $5 off deal on all Physicians Formula cosmetics or skin products, you can save $8 on Physicians Formula concelaer, cream and powder, which are priced from $12.99 to $14.99 at my local CVS.

Well, tomorrow is Thursday, which means that you can get a sneak peek at the upcoming week's CVS circular on the CVS website. I'll be taking a peek inside for you and see if there are any good deals coming up this week.

The Revlon Nail Art polishes have arrived at CVS!

When I've been in other stores, I've noticed the new Revlon Nail Art collection of nail polishes. They are nail color duos that allow you to be creative with nail color. When I saw them in other stores, I thought, "It would be nice if CVS had those..." I must have wished that during the recent meteor shower because all three types are at my local CVS store!

All three of the varieties appeal to certain aspects of my personality. The glittery Revlon Nail Art Moon Candy nail colors entice the glitzy side of me. The Revlon Nail Art Expressionist variety allows me to create designs on my nails with the skinny brush that comes with the accent shade in the nail polish duo. Since I was a young adult during the 1980s, the Revlon Nail Art Neon shades allow me to go back to that more carefree time in my life.

Next week would be a good time to try them out because CVS is running a $2 extrabucks rewards deal on all Revlon nail polishes (excluding clearance), and all nail polishes (excluding clearance) are priced at $5.49. Since you can get the extrabucks rewards on up to six purchases, you can try out more than one variety to see which one works for you.

Another $2 Revlon extrabucks rewards deal CVS is running is Nearly Naked makeup, ColorStay lip, or Photo Ready BB cream. All are priced at $6.99 this week. The BB cream at $6.99 is the lowest price on BB cream I've seen at CVS, so if you like Revlon cosmetics and have wanted to try a BB cream, this $2 extrabucks rewards deal would be a good time to do so.

There are some other beauty deals in this week's CVS ad that I'll takd about later this week. But I want to wait until I gether some more information on how to get an even better deal on them!

Stop into CVS to pick up a Sunday newspaper and check out the Christmas clearance!

There are two RedPlum and three SmartSource coupon inserts in Sunday newspapers, and many of the coupons can be used on deals in the CVS weekly ad. Somewhat off the subject, if you live in an area where you can get a Chicago Tribune, that newspaper had all five inserts in it.  Even thought I live three hours from Chicago, I buy the Tribune on Sundays because all the inserts are in a sealed bag so that people can't steal coupons out of the newspapers. There have been a number of times where I've bought my local Sunday newspaper that said on the front it had over a hundered dollars in coupons inside only to not have any inserts in the paper whatsoever in the copy I bought.

One of the SmartSource inserts has a wide variety of coupons for Johnson & Johnson products, and many of those can be used toward the $30/$10 extrabucks rewards on J&J products. One of the best ones is a Buy 1, Get 1 Free coupon on Visine eye drops. Since they are priced at $4.99 this week, you would get one-third of the way to getting the $10 extrabucks reward when you buy two, but you would be paying for only one. After you get the $10 extrabucks reward, you can turn around and get $25 in coupons from Johnson & Johnson with the Healthy Essentials savings offer. This link also will take you to additional coupons that can be used on this deal.

Listerine mouthwash users can get a 500 ml bottle of Listerine UltraClean, Total Care, or Advanced Listerine for 99 cents by using a $1 coupon for Listerine in the SmartSource circular, and a $2 ExtraCare Coupon Center!

Also, when I went into my local CVS this morning to get a newspaper after church, I noticed that the Christmas merchandise had been reduced to 75 percent off! The "Christmas merchandise" at stores in my area includes winter wear, small appliances, home decor, luggage, and even wireless routers, so you might be able to pick up a phenomenal deal on something you wouldn't expect to by going down the Christmas aisle at your local CVS!

$10 back deals for both Pepsi and Coke drinkers

I have $17.50 in quarterly extrabucks rewards burning a hole in my pocket and another $6 from taking advantage of the $6 extrabucks rewards deal when you purchase two tubes of Aveeno lotion or cream, so I was pondering if I should use it on the $10 extrabucks rewards for $30 spent on Procter and Gamble products on the $10 extrabucks rewards deal on PepsiCo and Mars products.

There were a few products included in the Procter and Gamble deal that I need, such as Dawn and Gain, but there isn't anything else I need at the moment.

So I went to the store and considered taking advantage of the $10 extrabucks rewards deal on PepsiCo and Mars products and found that some of the items included in that deal had coupons attached to them. I saw 4-packs of Starbucks Frappucino with $1 coupons on them, and I was pleasantly surprised that you had to buy only one 4-pack to use it. Normally, the coupons are $1/2 4-packs. And with the price of the 4-packs being 2/$10, they become 2/$8 if you find two 4-packs with the $1 coupon attached. Another CVS store I visited had 35 cent off coupons on 2-liter bottles of Sierra Mist, which would bring the sale price down from 99 cents to 64 cents for a 2-liter bottle.
Even though I would have to pay very little out of pocket to get $30 worth of PepsiCo and Mars products, I couldn't justify spending $30 on candy, soft drinks, chips, and frappucinos when there were other things I need more.

So I checked next week's ad, and saw that CVS will be $10 CVSCash Cards for buying $30 of a wide variety of items. Coke drinkers will be happy that 12-packs of Coke at 3/$10 will be eligible for the deal. The 7.5-oz. 8 packs of Coke products, along with 8-10 pks of Honest Kids and Minute Maid Juice Boxes, will be on sale for 2/$6, and Powerade 8-pks and Vitamin Water 6-pks will be on sale for $3.99.

But it's not just drinks and food items that will eligible for the $10 CVSCash Card deal. Airwick, Lysol, and Finish products also are included. You even can stock up on printer paper since 500 sheet packages of Georgia-Pacific MultiPurpose paper will also count toward a $10 CVSCash Card.

And if you can't decide on what to get, no problem! You can get up to five $10 CVSCash Cards in one week.

By now, you've probably guessed what I'm going to do with my extrabucks rewards when Sunday comes. Hope you can find a combination of products that works for you in order to get one or more $10 CVSCash Cards.

Save on Pampers diapers and wipes this week and next!

If you are a parent of a child or children still in diapers, you might want to use any quarterly extrabucks you received on the Procter and Gamble $10 extrabucks rewards/$30 spent deal since the Pampers Super Pack and Pampers Wipes are both eligible products. Additionally, one Pampers Super Pack at $24.99 and two packages of wipes at 2/$6 are all you need to buy to get the $10 extrabucks rewards. If you didn't get the P&G insert in Sunday's paper with coupons for both products, there are $1.50 coupons for the Baby Dry diapers and 50 cent coupons for the wipes on both the CVS website and on Coupons.com.

And you can turn around and buy more Pampers and wipes next week when CVS will have a $3 extrabucks rewards deal when you buy a jumbo pack of any Pampers and a 192-216 count package of wipes. I will update you next week whether or not the coupons available for this week's deal are available next week. But there are coupons in specially marked packages of Pampers diapers for Pampers and other P&G products, so the packages of diapers might contain coupons that would be useful in the future.

Will post another blog tomorrow about other ways to get $10 back from CVS.
